Matt Mink is offering an Enhanced Competitive Shooting Class open to all CASA members for a discounted rate of $100 on the following dates:
Sept 4th – (Wednesday)
November 9th – (Saturday)
Time: 1pm – 5pm (4 hours)
Cost $100.00
Matt is a “World Class” competitive shooter and holds several world and national titles as well as USPSA Grand Master and IDPA Distinguished Master classifications. Whether you are new to competitive shooting or just want to fine tune your skills this class is for you.

Steel Challenge Saturday
Hey everyone its time again CASA is having our monthly Steel Challenge match this weekend June 8, we will be shooting 5 stages, sign up will start at 9:30 start shooting 10:00. Entry fee is $10.00 if you choose to run a second gun another $5.00. We will be setting up the range around 9:00 any help will be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

We appreciate everyone coming out to participate and hope you had a fun time. Saturday was a rough day but Mother Nature made up for it on Sunday and it was a great day of shooting. Special thanks goes out to the staff without the volunteers the match wouldn’t have happened.

HOG-n-HEAT IDPA Sanctioned Match Aug 17th, 2013

Central Arkansas Shooters Association is proud to announce the HOG-n-HEAT IDPA Sanctioned Match , August 17th 2013
This will be one of the last sanctioned matches before the IDPA Nationals in September. We are planning 10 challenging and fun stages including 8 from previous IDPA Nationals over the last 10+ years and 2 stages that the HOG-n-HEAT staff will design with a BBQ theme.
- Match will be limited to a maximum of 150 shooters including staff.
- Open Squads
- Round count will be approximately 180 rounds
- BBQ lunch is included with your entry fee of $70.00, after Aug 1st fee will increase to $80.00
- There is a possibility of t-shirts being sold for approximately $18 per shirt which will be determined at a later date. Please include your shirt size on your entry if you would be interested in purchasing one.
- We are working up some great prizes including a gun giveaway that all match shooters will have a chance to win.

ATTENTION — 2013 AR RACKENSACK CLASSIC IS FULL
As of today Monday, March 11th registration for the match is CLOSED.
If your entry has been postmarked on or prior to Sunday, March 10th we will allow entry into the match. Entries postmarked on Monday, March 11th or later will be put on a waiting list and slots will be opened based on availability. You will be notified via email if we can work you in.
We would like to thank all the shooters for making the trip to central Arkansas to shoot the 2013 AR Rackensack Classic, especially those of you traveling from out of state. Texas holds the record for the most shooters “God Bless Texas”!
Match booklet and final shooters list will be posted in the next few days and emailed to shooters.
