May Steel Challenge Club Match

Greetings shooters,

CASA will be resuming our regular monthly match schedule beginning with our Steel Challenge match on Saturday, May 9. Before you read the match announcement below, let’s go over some protocols that we’ll be observing to comply with the recommendations for operating in this Covid 19 environment. We encourage each shooter to take the precautions they deem appropriate for their own protection and to respect the measures others also consider necessary.

 -First and foremost, if you have symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, sore throat, loss of taste or smell…..or even think you do…please stay home!!!

 -Practiscore will be open for registration, squadding and payment. This match will be limited to five squads of eight shooters each so register soon or you may be left out.

 -Check-in will be under the pavilion and there will be a “social distancing” arrangement set up that we ask you to respect.

 -There will not be a shooters meeting. Once you check in, go straight to your starting bay/stage which will be posted at the pavilion. You can begin shooting when everyone in your squad is present or at the prescribed starting time.  

 -Social distancing in the squads, gloves and masks are all encouraged but remain the responsibility of each individual. There will be hand sanitizer available in the pavilion.

These unusual times call for some adjustments to how we operate but will do little to diminish the fun of the match. We look forward to resuming the events that bring us together with the friends who share an appreciation for the shooting sports. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Hello Steel Shooters!

CASA will be having our Steel Challenge match on Saturday, May 9th @ 9 am

•             Sign-in:   8:15 am – 8:45 am, please arrive by 8:30 am

•             Start Time:  9am

•             Match fee $10 per gun.  Youth $5 per gun.  You may now pay online for a $1 fee (it’s after the initial sign up page for each division you enter)

•             This will be a classifier match with 5 to 6 stages and a minimum of 125 rounds, please bring plenty of ammunition

Note:  If you’re a first-time shooter at CASA, please come early and let the sign-in crew know so we can do a safety walk-through with you.

Also, you will need know your gun division which mirrors USPSA divisions.  If you’re not sure of your division, we’ll help you figure it out at sign-in.
